Meditation & Mindfulness for Beginners

This is a five week x 2 hour course that opens the participant to why mindfulness and meditation practises will serve you to increase your ability to function in an every increasingly harsh world.
This is strictly for beginners or those that think that meditation is really difficult to do.
We can only control ourselves – this course will certainly be an anchor for you to traverse the highs and lows of everyday life.
If you need a method to calm yourself and still the monkey mind that runs away with every stress that comes your way – please come and explore the benefits of mindfulness and meditation.

Your tutor is a wellness practitioner, hypnotherapist, counsellor, Reiki master with 25 years experience guiding people along their soul journey.

WEA Hunter offers a wide variety of Lifestyle & Leisure courses at various locations throughout Newcastle and the Hunter Region.
Course enrolment must be accompanied by a fee; we are unable to hold places for people or accept deposits on Lifestyle courses. Once enrolment is completed students will receive a course confirmation either in writing or by email. This course confirmation constitutes a receipt.
Please check your confirmation letter to ensure you have the correct time, date and location of your course as well as any necessary requirements. There is a room directory located at each venue directing you to your classroom. Vending machines are located at both Laman & King street venues and parking fees will apply.
