This is a course for those who have studied intermediate conversational French (at WEA or elsewhere approx. 40hrs), and wish to build on this.
This course is for those who are wishing to build on an already acquired basic proficiency in French.

Learning outcome:

This course will enable participants to acquire a more details understanding of spoken French, to increase vocabulary and develop conversational skills.
The areas covered may include:

  • Finding and describing your job
  • Weekend and leisure activities
  • Keeping fit
  • Dealing with emergencies, and more.

Please note:

The course is of 15hrs duration, there are no examinations and the class environment is encouraging and friendly.

At WEA Hunter we offer a wide variety of Business, Lifestyle & Leisure courses at various locations throughout Newcastle and the Hunter Region.
Course enrolment must be accompanied by a fee; we are unable to hold places for people or accept deposits on Lifestyle courses. Once enrolment is completed students will receive a course confirmation either in writing or by email. This course confirmation constitutes a receipt.
Please check your confirmation letter to ensure you have the correct time, date and location of your course as well as any necessary requirements. There is a room directory located at each venue directing you to your classroom. Vending machines are located at both Laman & King street venues and parking fees will apply.
Please choose carefully as WEA Hunter does not issue refunds of fees paid except in circumstances where WEA Hunter cancels a course – in which case students are entitled to receive a full refund. Alternatively if a course cancels WEA Hunter will transfer the student into another course with no administration charge.
